Hospice RN-Manager of Clinical Practice


The Parker Jewish Institute for Healthcare and Rehabilitation, located in New Hyde Park, NY, is seeking a RN-Manager of Clinical Practice to join our team and play a key role in the oversight, regulatory compliance and growth of Parker's Comprehensive Community Hospice Program.



The Parker Jewish Institute for Health Care and Rehabilitation, conveniently located on the Queens-Nassau County border in New Hyde Park, New York, is a non-profit health care facility that offers short term rehabilitation, sub-acute care and nursing home care, as well as community-based health care encompassing adult day health care, home health care, and a hospice program that serves terminally ill patients in their own homes or in nursing facilities.

In this role, reporting to the Hospice Administrator, The Hospice Manager of Clinical Practice provides clinical oversight and regulatory guidance for patient care, patient and family education, clinical leadership and management of Hospice staff, and ensures compliance with documentation, IDT meetings and quality initiatives.



  • Registered Nurse (RN) in New York state, along with a Bachelor's Degree in Nursing or a related field
  • Two or more years of experience in a leadership role in a Hospice setting
  • Demonstrated leadership ability; ability to lead teams and empower staff
  • Certification in Hospice and Palliative Care a plus
  • Excellent communication and customer service skills; is cooperative and helpful
